Oct 10, 2011 by Harshleen
Mineral Fusion Sunstone Mineral Body Lotion ($9.99) is a a vitamin-enriched moisturizer with the natural aroma of sunstone. I spotted it on sale (50% off) in my local Whole Foods and couldn’t stop myself from picking it up. Can I not shop for groceries without swinging by the beauty aisle? Guess not I am a beauty blogger after all and this thing was just $5! Ok, now on to the review. …

The all-natural, hypoallergenic formula contains skin-healthy minerals to strengthen your skin’s natural defenses and protect against damaging free radicals to promote revitalized, radiant skin. Sunstone: Crisp white cassis berries make this blend surprisingly fresh with a sprinkle of pink ginger and vanilla. .

First of all, I love the warm, floral aroma of this mineral body lotion. The good thing is that the scent is subtle yet so refreshing with a tiny hint of sweetness. The lotion itself absorbs quickly and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. As you can see above, the ingredient list is full of skin-nourishing ingredients like Sunflower seed Oil, Cocoa butter, coconut oil, Myrtle extract and Hyaluronic Acid plus vitamins & minerals to provide natural antioxidant protection. No wonder, the formula is highly moisturizing and leaves my dry skin feeling silky-soft. Just perfect for winters! Also, a little goes a long way so there is no need to slather a whole lot to relieve dryness. It is also gentle enough for use on sensitive skin since the formula is all-natural and free of any synthetic fragrances.
Can you tell I love it? It’s like the perfect anti-aging body lotion that hydrates as wells as protects your skin from the elements. And the price is just right – $9.99 for 8oz. Even though I got this one on sale for just $5, I would not mind paying the full price next time. Highly recommended!
