I had never tried any Jurlique products before but recently got a chance to review the brand’s latest skincare range – Rose Moisture Plus with Antioxidant Complex. The products in the range include the Rose Moisture Plus with Antioxidant Complex Moisturising Cleanser, Moisturising Cream and Rosewater Balancing Mist.

Let’s start with the Rose Moisture Plus With Antioxidant Complex Moisturising Cleanser ($22 for 3.3 oz)
A lightly whipped, high performance cleanser with an antioxidant complex and skin conditioning ingredients that dissolve impurities and help moisturize the skin.
I really like hydrating facial cleansers for my dry skin so this was an instant favorite! However, it’s not just for dry skin types because despite the creamy consistency, it lathers up nicely and removes dirt and impurities to leave your skin very clean and refreshed…..no greasy feel afterwards. The formula also contains willow bark extract (natural form of salicylic acid) to enhance cell turnover and pumice which is a micro-fine natural exfoliator that lightly polishes and smoothes skin. There are no gritty particles in the cleanser so you won’t feel any scrubbing action but it does a good job of exfoliating gently. Another plus is the natural rose scent that’s not strong and goes away as you rinse off the cleanser.
Next is the Rose Moisture Plus With Antioxidant Complex Moisturising Cream ($42 for 1.4oz)
A rich, high-performance moisturizing cream that provides the dual benefits of hydration and antioxidant protection with powerful plant oils and an antioxidant complex to help address signs of dehydration and premature aging.
Loaded with skin-nourishing oils from Rosehip, Avocado, Safflower and Jojoba, this luxurious cream is a treat for dry skin! I don’t find the formula to be heavy or greasy but it might be a little too much for oily skin gals especially in summertime. A little bit of this cream goes a long way so you just need a pea-sized amount for your face. I really like the way it absorbs easily to make my skin soft, supple and a bit glowy. The light rose scent definitely adds to its soothing feel and I love using this as a night cream before bedtime. Not only does it provide lasting hydration to the skin but also protection against environmental damage with antioxidants like Green tea, Grapeseed and Turmeric extracts.
And last is the Rosewater Balancing Mist ($22 for 1.7 oz)
A light, hydrating mist with precious Rose essential oil that helps improve skin tone and hydrate the complexion and is ideal for normal/combination skin types. Skin feels hydrated, refreshed and dewy.
Designed to soothe and soften the skin, this lush facial mist really is a moisturizing refreshment during these hot summer days (I like to keep it the fridge for a nice, cooling sensation) My only hangup is the addition of alcohol so early on the ingredient list. But if you really enjoy rose-based facial mists, this might be for you.
Overall, Jurlique Rose Moisture Plus with Antioxidant Complex skincare range is a winner in my books! The Moisturising Cream is especially fabulous for dry skin with its lovely texture and impressive lineup of ingredients including powerful antioxidants and nourishing oils.
