NOTD – Bon Bons Nail Enamel Hot Pink
Jul 9, 2012 by Harshleen
I’ve often seen the cute little Bon Bons polish bottles at Wal-Mart but never picked up any. I would have if only I had spotted this bright hot pink polish! For just $1, this pretty polish is a lovely frugal find!
Bon Bons polishes are not labeled with a shade name or number, this one is a hot pink with slight shimmer. The color payoff is true to the color you see in the bottle. It takes at least three coats for opaque, smooth coverage. When I first started applying, the application was quite streaky but after adding a couple of coats, it evened out nicely. The drying time is fairly quick as well. The little bottle is so cute but I find the tiny-teeny brush a little hard to work with. Also, the staying power isn’t that great so I would recommend a good top coat to avoid chipping within two-three days.
Overall, I think the quality of this polish is pretty decent for just $1. The tiny bottle is easy to toss in your purse or makeup bag…. perfect size for travelling or fixing a chipped manicure on the go! It’s also a cruelty-free and 3 Free nail lacquer – No formaldehyde, Toluene or DBP.
Bon Bons nail enamel by Bari cosmetics comes in 31 shades and available online at Baricosmetics.com and Wal-Mart stores nationwide.
