CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream
Feb 15, 2013 by Harshleen
Winter has always been hard for my dry skin but my hands have to suffer the most, thanks to the constant hand washing that is much needed in this nasty cold and flu season. Not surprisingly, I’m always on the hunt for the next best hand cream to grace my desk and with CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream, I seem to have found a new winter skin savior for my hands!
Ideal for dry, winter months, CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream contains dimethicone to help prevent and protect chafed, chapped, cracked, dry skin. And if you wash your hands often, you will be delighted to know that CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream is water resistant too! It also contains ingredients such as niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and ceramides which help replace lipid levels in damaged skin and prevent water loss.
The formula is not too thick or heavy and absorbs quickly leaving hands feeling smooth and nicely hydrated without a greasy, oily feel. It’s one of the more important features of a hand cream that I’m always on the lookout for, because I want to apply it and then be able to resume doing whatever it is shortly after! The silicone in the formula helps to keep it from feeling greasy (has more of a velvety feel) and adds a bit of a barrier on skin, from harmful irritants and allergens, so they look and feel soft and healthy.
Another plus is that CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream is suitable for sensitive skin too with its alcohol-free and fragrance-free formula. And at just 3 ounces, it’s the perfect-sized tube to throw in your bag to use on the go!
CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream retails for $10.99 and is available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide.
