One of the greatest loves of this beauty obsessed gal is eyeliner pencils. I am a HUGE eyeliner fan! Even if I have just a few minutes to get ready, an eyeliner is a must-have for me to look polished and put together. Not surprisingly, I’m the proud owner of a not-so-little eyeliner collection. My latest eyeliner entry is Osmosis Colour Water Resistant Eye Pencil
Water-resistant and long lasting wearability, the Osmosis Eye Pencils feature a creamy, quick drying formula. The soft-gliding application goes on smoothly without any drag or skipping. Smudge with an Eye Liner/Brow or Smudge Brush to diffuse the liners for a smoky eye or define your lash line.
Pro Tip: Apply liner inside the rim of the eyes. This makes the lash line look thicker and is also fantastic as a “liner application” for those with very little eyelid space.
I tried out 3 shades : Black, Plum and Charcoal
Black is a rich matte black shade.
Plum is a deep, matte purple shade.
Charcoal is a dark gunmetal-gray shade with slight shimmer
This eyeliner is super pigmented, delivering a rich color that is smudge-proof and wears strong throughout the day with no need to touch up. The soft & creamy formula glides on smoothly – no tugging or pulling at all. It smudges nicely too if you are going for a smoky eye look but sets very fast, making it not as easy to blend or “smoke” out on the lids or lashline than I would have like to have experienced. That’s a good thing for longevity though as the formula doesn’t budge easily!
The color stays put on my upper and lower lash line and even waterline! It does start fading off on waterline after about 7 hours of wear but that’s the longest time any eyeliner has ever stayed put on my waterline! Also, I like that there’s no migrating and settling into the fine creases under my eyes so no raccoon eyes. Here are the swatches :
Overall, I love the waterproof and stay-put formula of Osmosis Colour Water Resistant Eye Pencils. Not only are these eyeliners packed with color, they wear extremely well (even on my waterline!), and are also priced reasonably at $12 each. If you have a hard time finding eyeliners that stay put on the lower lashline/waterline, then you’ll definitely want to check these out! Available for purchase at skincarebyalana.com and Blush.com
