Looking for an eyeliner that can stay on your lower inner rim? Yeah, you gals know, it’s not an easy thing to find one that stays long enough on waterline and also has relatively safe ingredients. I have tried Lakme (an Indian brand) kajal and UD 24/7 eye pencil in zero (black). Although both of them have intense pigmentation and line smoothly on the lower lashes but have a tendency to smudge or run after a short time (maybe a couple of hours or so).
Looking for a better replacement, I recently stumbled upon an all-natural eyeliner by a brand called Honeybee Gardens while grocery shopping in my local New Seasons. If you are okay with somewhat less intense pigment and would prefer much safer ingredients to line your eyes, then you must try Honeybee Gardens JobaColors Eyeliner. I picked up two shades – Jet Set (black) and Belgian chocolate (brown) and love it for everyday use. This eye pencil is a great option with non-irritating and natural ingredients to line your lower inner rim and lashes. It’s great for those with sensitive eyes or if your eyes get easily irritated with normal eyeliners.
JobaColors Eye Liner Ingredients: ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, ozokerite wax, ethylhexyl palmitate (vegetarian), simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, lanolin oil, beeswax, theobroma cacao (cocoa) seed butter, cetearyl alcohol (vegetarian), copernicia cerifera (carnauba) wax. May Contain: black iron oxide, brown iron oxide, mica.
I applied it on my upper lid too and color stays in place with little to no smudging through the day. The black one is more intense and the colors wash off easily. And the best part is that this chemical-free eye pencil is available at a very reasonable price ($6.99) considering the fact that pretty much all the natural/organic cosmetics come with a hefty price tag.
I have also tried Honeybee gardens Truly Natural Lipstick and it’s another awesome product with all-natural-good-for-skin ingredients (also available at New Seasons – I used it exclusively when I was pregnant ). They have a lot of lovely shades to choose from and I picked two – San Fransisco (frosty pink) and Paradise (gorgeous pink with light shimmer). They also have a natural mascara……….next on my try-it list ☺
