If you’re a regular shopper at any major health food grocery store, you’ve probably seen Gabriel cosmetics in the beauty and skincare aisle. I had always been intrigued by their products and recently tried their lipstick at my local New Seasons market.
A brief introduction about the company : Gabriel cosmetics is a Bellevue, WA based company that is committed to being cruelty-free and lead-free and manufacture most of their products in the United States. The products are made from 100% natural ingredients, and according to Gabriel Cosmetics -No synthetic chemicals or animal by-products are utilized and no testing is ever done on animals.
The first thing I noticed when I swatched Gabriel lipstick on the back of my hand was that the texture was buttery smooth and the color (copper glaze) was extremely flattering. I was totally impressed and purchased 2 shades (Dune and Copper glaze) immediately. The pink shade Dune reminds me of MAC Lame lipstick, it’s so pretty!
Dune
This lipstick is really soft and moisturizing with a hint of sheen which is what my (usually dry) lips need. The pigmentation is excellent and the colors look so vibrant and beautiful. You can easily layer these elegant beauties for more or less color intensity. This totally natural lipstick’s creamy formula provides long lasting color and a smooth polished finish. Isn’t that all we want from a lipstick?

The Gabriel Cosmetics line has lipsticks and glosses that are gluten-free and 100% lead free. Lipsticks come in 24 gorgeous moisturizing colors from sheer to bold. I love the ingredient list that includes natural oils such as jojoba, castor, sesame, coconut, safflower and wheat germ, as well as candellia wax and aloe vera.
