Although I am not a fan of fragrance in skincare lotions and potions, I like to indulge in luxurious, divine smelling bath and body products. I was recently introduced to a brand called Barefoot Venus that makes “the finest quality bath and body products with a vision to produce a flirtatiously feminine and luxurious spa like offering”. Barefoot Venus products are formulated without Parabens, Propylene glycol, Mineral oil, Synthetic colors and sodium Lauryl sulfate.
I tried a couple of their bath and body products like lilly pilly moisturizing wash. Isn’t that a cute name for a body wash? lilly pilly is a part of their “feel good” collection and as per the website it’s : A flirty mix of lush fruits & sweet florals have been sprinkled with powder’s silky-softness.
Formulated with skin caring ingredients like aloe vera, vitamin E and glycerine, this body wash is moisturizing indeed but doesn’t feel greasy. It lathers up nicely to wash away dirt and impurities and after I rinse it out, my skin feels really smooth and comfortable without that that squeaky clean, tight feeling. Since I am a sucker for floral fragrances, the scent of this body wash is right up my alley and cheers up my senses with a luxurious feeling in the shower. I love that the fragrance is soft and refreshing without being overwhelming. The scent also lingers around for a little while after shower. And if you really like, they also have a hydrating body lotion in the lily pily range to drench your skin in this sweet floral fragrance!
Overall, the lilly pily moisturizing wash is a total winner for me as it cleanses gently without stripping my skin of its natural moisture and the lush, flowery fragrance is a sensory delight! If you love to indulge in sweet fruity fragrances, then you can also check out other delicious collections like Lychee luxe, Pear Amour ,Hunny Mango and many more on the Barefoot Venus website.
