For today’s post, I thought of sharing some of my favorite beauty products for summers. These are my beauty must-haves in the hotter months…….hope you find this list useful!
Paula’s Choice Resist Cellular Defense Daily Moisturizer with SPF 25 & Antioxidants – This daytime facial moisturizer is not only loaded with skin benefiting ingredients but also provides a high SPF of 25 which is perfect for an everyday sunscreen moisturizer! The fragrance-free formula provides gentle broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection (with 8% Titanium Dioxide) and contains antioxidants for enhanced protection. It really works well for me since it is meant for normal to dry, sensitive skin and feels very hydrating. I even use it all around my eyes and experience no irritation whatsoever. It takes a little extra time to blend in nicely but sets to a non-greasy finish and does not leave a whitish cast after being absorbed.
Alba Botanica Very Emollient Kids Sunblock Mineral Protection SPF 30 – Even though it is meant for kids, I love to use this as a body sunscreen because of its gentle, non-greasy formula with a high SPF of 30. The best part is that it has an almost matte finish and there is absolutely no white cast at all despite this being a mineral sunscreen (with only zinc oxide for UVA/UVB broad-spectrum reflective barrier). It is also fragrance free and nourishing ingredients like vitamin E, organic sunflower and jojoba oils keep your skin well-moisturized. The formula is a little thick but does not feel goopy and spreads easily.
Neutrogena Naturals lip balm : This lip balm feels so soothing and moisturizing without being sticky or greasy and does not have any fragrance or irritating ingredients like menthol or peppermint. The all-natural formula with jojoba oil, olive oil, shea butter and vit E works great to keep my lips soft and smooth. Since it does not have sunscreen, I use Yes to Carrots lip butter with SPF 15 for outdoor use.
Palladio lip stain : I am not a lipstain junkie but really like the Palladio Lip Stain as it delivers a sheer wash of color which I prefer for a more natural look. Most importantly, it does not dry out my lips and although I like to top it off with a gloss or lip balm, the formula is not drying by itself as well. My favorite is a salmon-red shade called Rose that’s very versatile. The color stays put for a good 3-4 hours and fades off evenly leaving behind a hint of rosy color.
Mac Technakohl eyeliner : This MAC favorite packs a lot of pigment and deposits rich, long-lasting color that does not fade or smudge in the summer heat. The retractable pencil is easy to use with a soft tip and just glides on without any pulling or tugging. I have the one in Graphblack (true black shade) that I love to use on my upper lashline. I do not use it on my waterline because I prefer an all-natural eye pencil like Honeybee Gardens JobaColors eyeliner to line the inner rims of my eyes.
What are your top picks for summers? Do share your favorites…. I would love to know!

All I truly use over the summer is baby wipes and an antibacterial soap. The heat index here has shot to 115 degrees and wearing lotion will only make me dirtier. I hate going outside so I do not have a stable SPF in my totebag!

Just pick a basic oil-free moisturizer with sunscreen to keep you protected from UV rays whenever you go out. They also have sunscreen sprays or powders these days which might work for you.
