The Sephora collection Super Nourishing Lip Balm is a hydrating lip balm that contains shea butter, beeswax, grapeseed oil, vitamin E, and meadowfoam seed oil to moisturize and “keep your lips soft, comfortable, and looking great”. I bought this lip balm recently just to qualify for free shipping on my Sephora.com order.
The Sephora collection Super Nourishing Lip Balm has a very lightweight and smooth feel on lips.It’s not sticky or waxy and I like the lipstick-style applicator that glides across the lips with ease. The lipbalm has a light, sweet scent (sort of vanilla fragrance) but the fragrance disappears quickly after application. The formula is not really super nourishing as the name suggests but provides a good enough dose of moisture for dry lips, it won’t be much help though if your lips are in need of extra TLC.
When worn alone, it gives my lips a bit of shine and the moisture lasts for about 2 hours (without eating or drinking). I favor this lip balm a lot more for use before lipsticks or lipglosses because of its slick, lighweight texture that works really well under other lip products.
Overall, Sephora collection Super Nourishing lip balm is a nice, everyday moisturizing lip balm with a non-greasy, smooth texture. It’s totally worth the $5 price tag and I am glad I tried it out!
Except for the eye makeup remover, I’ve never really liked the Sephora products…
But for the price it’s worth a try!.
Oohh, I may have to try this out. I have tried a few Sephora products but usually I can take them or leave them. May have to give this a try though.
