Saint Germain Paris Eyeshadow Duo in Purple Blue/Night Blue

I have already introduced you to the new affordable makeup brand Saint Germain Paris. Today I am featuring an eyeshadow duo in Purple blue/Night blue from their eye makeup collection.

The eyeshadow duo comes in a sleek black plastic case and includes a standard dual ended sponge applicator. There’s no mirror in the compact though. Also, it would have been nice to have a divider between the two colors.

Moving on to the texture, it’s not extremely smooth but applies easily with a velvety finish. The pigmentation is really good. I was delighted by the color payoff of both the shades, even the lighter lilac color shows up pretty well. There’s some shimmer in both the shades with the darker one being a bit more shimmery. They blend quite well and I didn’t have any fallout issues either.

With an eyeshadow primer (I use UDPP), I got a good 8 hours of wear without any creasing at all but the colors do start to fade slightly by the end of the day. I use the lilac color on my eyelids, night blue on the crease and outer v and then finish off with a dark purple/black eyeliner for a quick soft smokey look!
