As you can see above, the ingredient list for the Lafes roll on deodorant is perfectly natural (with 72% of those ingredients being organic) and the deodorant is missing all of the harmful chemicals that are best missed (aluminum chlorhydrate, propylene glycol, alcohol, mineral oil, parabens, petroleum products or any synthetic preservatives). The formula relies on the antibacterial properties of hemp oil and natural minerals salts to kill stinky underarm bacteria and keep odors at bay.
There are 5 fragrances of Lafes deodorant to choose from – I tried out the Powder scent. It has a pleasant, flowery aroma similar to the soft scent of baby powder. This is a clear, roll-on liquid deodorant, so you don’t have to worry about any white marks or stains on your clothing. It does require a couple of minutes to dry completely before putting on clothes. I typically apply it immediately after I’ve towel dried off from the shower, and that gives me enough time for the deo to dry. As for the results, I’ve found that Lafes is a good choice for day-to-day use to combat body odor but the deodorizing protection isn’t strong enough for super sweaty times at the gym (Zumba!)
Bottom line – If you’re looking for a healthy yet reasonably priced ($5.99) alternative to conventional aluminum-laden deodorants, Lafes is worth a try!
