3 Favorite MAC Mineralize Rich Lipsticks

I am kind of obsessed with MAC mineralize lipsticks and own eight of them. What makes them a must have is their luxurious formula which contains 77 mineral moist complex nutrient rich moisture and offers medium shine finish with buildable coverage. I do agree that $22 is a little high but when I used the regular MAC lipstick I realized that these are so much better and worth it.

Below are three of my favorite shades:-

MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick Lush Life :

This one is the only berry plum which looks flattering on me otherwise I am not a person who can carry dark plums well. They make me look aged but this one is fantastic. When swatched on my hands, it looks more berry but on my pigmented lips it turns out really plum. On fairer and less pigmented lips, berry shade will be prominent but on deeper and darker skin tones it will look more plum and less berry. Either ways, this shade is definitely suitable for most of the skin tones. Also, you will find different swatches all over because of variation in skin tones and lighting but I have tried taking the exact swatches and how it looks on me. For reference I am NC 42 in MAC

MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick Lady At Play :

This cool tangerine shade reminds me of a more pigmented version of MAC Viva Glam Cyndi. It is super moisturizing and oh so light. It glides on like butter and adds that extra touch of hydration to my lips keeping them moisturized throughout the day. There is nothing as such in this lipstick that I don’t like. It stays around 4-5 hours on my lips and leaves a natural looking tint if I have meals in between.

MAC Mineralize Rich Lipstick Grand Dame

When I swatched this lipstick in the store, I didn’t notice that it’s a frosty shade because the shimmer in the lipstick is just too fine. As far as the texture is concerned, it’s as creamy as the other shades but the finish of this shade is not as glossy as compared to other shades in this range. It’s a great shade, something which frosty lipstick lovers will completely love, but somehow I feel the shade doesn’t look so flattering on me. The lippie is hydrating, gives opaque coverage and won’t settle into fine lines. It has staying power of about 4-5 hours and it fades evenly without looking patchy.
