Hi there! It’s me, Nidia.
I had so much fun creating a nail art for Harshleen last time, that I asked if I could do it again! I’m excited to share this bright and sparkly striping tape look with you!
I started off with this crazy bright tomato red, Sinful Colors Energetic Red.
This is one of my favorite patterns for striping tape – a double line French tip, with one intersecting line on the side.
Once you’ve made sure that the base color is very, very dry, then you can apply the tape, making sure it’s stuck in all the corners of the nail. Then, cover the nail with the next color. In this nail art, I used Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Newborn Solstice Sun, a black and red glitter.
Don’t wait for the polish to dry, or it will pull polish off with your tape! Carefully, pull off the tape in a clean motion. Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Newborn Solstice Sun was a little thick, and dried a little textured!
I prefer this kind of look to be finished with a nice, thick topcoat like Seche Vite.
Doesn’t that red just pop?
