This is a fabulous creamy lipstick loaded with rich color! The formula applies super smoothly and is very creamy and moisturizing, not drying at all. It feels light and keeps lips comfortably hydrated throughout the wear – no lip balm needed here! These lippies have a satin finish with a subtle sheen that dulls down after about an hour or so. They are not super long-wearing but you’d easily get a good wear time of about 3-4 hours (i.e. if there’s no eating involved).
Now let’s take a look at the 2 shades I got :
Affair is a rosy pink that’s totally my kind of shade. I think it would look great on most skintones. It’s a lovely, easy-to-wear anytime shade that’s so pretty! The level of pigment is high enough to give a nice pop of color, but the sheer (yet buildable) formula ensures that the look is neutral enough not to compete with your eye makeup. I’ve been reaching out for it quite often!
Shy is a sheer, nude beige. I find it to be a bit too light for my fair-medium skintone. It’s a great shade to mix with brighter lipsticks to tone them down for day wear. If you like the idea of a super nude lip, you will love this shade!
