This is the Lip Monthly Box for May 2014 – their first box!

Hard Candy Lip Tattoo Lip Stain and Breath Freshening Gloss – This is a lip stain and lip gloss combo. I really liked the peachy pink color of the gloss. It seems this item is also no longer available at drugstores.

Ultrafresh Panthera Mini Mascara – I really liked the idea of a mix up item in addition to the lip products! This mini mascara would be a nice addition to my travel makeup bag.

GlamNatural Poco Loco Lip Cream – I am already a huge fan of GlamNatural products so it was so exciting to see this lippie in the Lip Monthly box! The shade I recived is called Poco Loco – a warm tone of coral that’s perfect for a bright, fresh look. The shea-butter based, natural formula is so creamy and highly pigmented. It glides on smoothly to provide soft, comfortable, non-sticky color with a nice finish – not too matte, not too shiny. This is definitely my favorite of the bunch!

Stila Glaze Lip Liner in Fuchsia – This bright fuchsia lip liner pairs perfectly with a sheer lipgloss! It wears comfortably and is pretty long-lasting. I think this product has been discontinued because I could only find it at ebay.

Lipology Outrageously Moist Lip Gloss in Pink (bonus item) – This is a full-sized shimmery pink lipgloss. I liked the formula and the color is pretty too.

Plus, there was also a GlamNatural cream blush sample in the box.

Overall, color me impressed with Lip Monthly! The box had 3 full-sized products plus a bonus item and deluxe sample…all for just $10! My only gripe was the inclusion of a discontinued product but overall the box offers a great value. For me, the GlamNatural lip cream was definitely the standout item and that alone is worth $20!
