Last week I introduced you to the new makeup line by One Direction – “The Looks Collection” that comprises three limited edition, keepsake tins inspired by One Direction’s globe-conquering albums, “Up All Night, “Take Me Home” and the latest chart topper, ‘Midnight Memories.” Much like the One Direction band members themselves, this makeup line is fun, bold and a tad mischievous, featuring vivid shades, premium formulas and chic, collectible packaging and components. I’ve got the Up All Night collection to show you. This kit includes bright & vibrant pink and blue shades to create a fun, flirty look. Take a look…. 1. Liquidlights Glow Gloss in “Taken” – This is a glittery hot pink lip gloss that glows to neon orange under UV light. Although it’s quite sparkly, I like the non-sticky, moisturizing formula and the gorgeous color. Such a fun and pretty shade that just screams party time! ‘I Should Have Kissed You’ Lipstick – This is a cool bubblegum pink creme matte lipstick with a great color payoff that lasts! It’s a pretty color but I don’t think it looks very flattering by itself on my warm skin tone but when paired with a peachy/coral pink lipgloss, the color looks gorgeous! Eye & Body Crayon in ‘Stand Up’ – I am loving this dark denim shade eye crayon! The teal blue shade is so pretty….you can use this as an eyeshadow base or as an eyeliner or even on your body for body art. The formula is so smooth, creamy and pigmented and applies and blends easily. Here are the swatches : 4+1 Eye Shadow Palette – This eyeshadow palette with playful blues and versatile neutrals has 4 pressed powder shades and one glitter creme in the center. The colors are – More Than This (matte, soft neutral pink), Gotta Be You (silvered taupe shimmer), Save You Tonight (shimmering turquoise blue), Another World (royal blue with silver shimmer) and Up All Night (sapphire glitter creme). I found the shimmery royal blue shade to be a bit chalky but overall the colors are all nicely pigmented with minimal fallout. The only one I won’t be using is the centre blue glitter creme….honestly I don’t think I can really pull off the glittery look so I’ve never been a fan of super shimmery eyeshadows. Little Black Dress Mascara in Perfectly Black – This is a really nice, rich black mascara with a volumizing formula that’s great for everyday wear. Nail Polish in “Na Na Na” – This is a gorgeous aqua blue metallic chrome nail polish. The shade is right up my alley and just perfect for summer! As for the formula, it applies very smoothly and dries to a beautiful glossy finish. My nails are not in very good shape these days so I don’t have any swatches…sorry! 5-piece Decorator Stencil Set – These One Direction doodle stencils can be used to decorate any of your things or even to create cute art shapes on your body using the blue eye and body crayon above. I won’t be using these but this would be nice for someone who loves going to concerts!
