GLOSSYBOX August 2014 is here…finally! This month, GLOSSYBOX is celebrating their 3rd #glossybirthday. They have updated the look of the box with a different wrapping and information card…nicely done!
Now let’s check out the goodies inside :
Kryolan for Glossybox Highlighter in Cashmere (full size, $19 value) – Created exclusively for GLOSSYBOX, this is a versatile, lightweight cream highlighter with a silky shine. The multipurpose formula can be used on cheekbones, brow bones or lips for a lit-from-within glow. It has a really nice creamy consistency that’s easy to apply with brush or fingers. There is not too much shimmer and it’s just perfect for a soft dewy look! Also, works really well as an inner eye highlighter and brightens up your eyes.
Eyeko London Skinny mini liquid eyeliner – This liquid eyeliner pen features a precision tip to create fine defined lines or thick feline flicks to accentuate your eyes. I have never been a fan of felt tip eyeliners and with this one also I feel like it dries up fast and you have to really press it in to get a solid black line. Staying power is pretty good though.
SpaRitual Explore Color Collection Nail Polish (full size, $12) – SpaRitual’s 2014 Explore Collection features six lacquers inspired by flora and fauna found in a North American forest and meant to evoke feelings of outdoor nostalgia. I am loving the shimmery pink shade I got. The formula is free of DBP, toluene, camphor and formaldehyde.
Überliss Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner – Promising shine and a dose of hydration thanks to ingredients like royal jelly, blueberry, apple, sugarcane, green tea, lemon peel and keratin, this hydrating shampoo and conditioner duo is sulfate-free and cleanse the hair without stripping its natural moisture, leaving hair fibers soft and easy to comb. I haven’t used these yet but the shampoo is supposed to have a rich lather despite being sulfate free…sounds good to me!
Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream – Formulated with the finest natural ingredients like ginseng extract, hydrolyzed marine collagen, avocado and sesame oil, this anti-aging cream nourishes deeply and helps restore firmness and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. I have only used it once so far and like the rich, hydrating formula and the scent is also quite nice!
Overall, I like most of the products in this month’s GLOSSYBOX. It had a great mix of products – makeup, nail polish, haircare and skincare! I love the highlighter and the nail polish and will make good use of other items as well.
