New from L’Oreal comes an exciting range of chocolate scented liquid lip colors called the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Liquid Lipstick!
Promising up to 16 hours of wear, this long-wearing matte liquid lipstick is available in 6 creamy nude shades with names inspired by chocolate! The shades include Dose of Cocoa, Bittersweet, Box O’ Chocolate, Candyman, Sweet Tooth and 70% Yum, each of which have been enhanced with an indulgent chocolate aroma.
The new L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Liquid Lipstick has quickly become my newest lip addiction! It has such an easy-to-wear lightweight formula that glides on very smoothly with a rich color payoff. And its delicious chocolate scent makes it feel like a sweet treat…yum!
Upon application, the formula feels a bit sticky/tacky until it sets to a completely matte finish in about 5 minutes. I actually like that it doesn’t dry down super quickly, giving me enough time to perfect my paint job. The color doesn’t smudge or crease while drying but I wouldn’t recommend eating or drinking during that time.
Once completely set, the matte finish is totally transfer-proof but slightly sticky when the lips are pressed together. The stickiness seems to go away after a while though!
What I really love about the formula is that it isn’t drying the way most liquid lipsticks are. This liquid lipstick isn’t moisturizing as such but wears quite comfortably on my lips without feeling dry or tight. If you’re one that often gets dry lips like me, this one is a winner!
In terms of wear, the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Les Chocolats Liquid Lipstick also gets an A+ because of its amazing staying power. Even with eating and drinking, the formula doesn’t budge and lasts all day. Also, it doesn’t leave lipstick marks on coffee cups!
You’ll need to use an oil-based makeup remover to get the color off…your regular makeup remover/micellar water won’t be much help.
I tried 3 shades and all of them are packed with pigment, providing opaque color in a single swipe. I really like Candyman (a mauve pink nude) and Box O’ Chocolate (grey toned mauve) but the shade Sweet Tooth (beige nude) doesn’t look flattering on my lips…it’s too light for my skin tone and gives me a washed out look.

I have also been trying another new makeup must-have from L’Oreal! Say hello the new L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Liquid Eyeliner. Yes, the wildly popular Lash Paradise Mascara now has a new addition to the family!
L’Oréal Voluminous Lash Paradise Liquid Eyeliner promises to glide on easily for rich, high shine and waterproof color that lasts all day. It comes in two colors – Black and Rose Gold (metallic finish)
This eyeliner has a flexible cone shaped tip designed to smoothly draw precise eye lines. Initially I found the felt tip of this eyeliner a little too flexible (not firm enough), making it a little tricky to get a super precise line. But now I’m starting to get the hang of it…much easier to control and no blobs or missed spots!
As for the longevity, this eyeliner doesn’t smudge once dry and stays in place almost all day but it’s not completely waterproof.
The Rose Gold is such a fun and trendy color with a shiny, metallic finish. It’s not sparkly or glittery but still vibrant and eye catching, without being outlandish. I am loving it! Definitely not something that I would wear on a daily basis, but it’s just perfect for a night out or party look!
For a more dramatic, bold liner look, L’Oreal suggests appyling the black eyeliner first and then outlining the black with the rose gold liner…see image below. I haven’t tried this yet but it looks lovely for sure!
