IT Cosmetics has collaborated with blow-dry chain Drybar to create a new mascara that’s supposed to be like a blowout for your lashes. Yes, it’s all about volume & more volume! Enter the new IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara that promises to add 19X more volume to your natural lashes.
IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara has been designed to bring the benefits of a hair salon blowout to your eyelashes. Inspired by the technology used to create Drybar barrel brushes for hair, this mascara’s specially designed wand features microspheres to gently catch all of your lashes and deliver beautiful separation, lift and volume.
What’s more, the lash-loving formula is infused with strengthening and conditioning ingredients like biotin, vitamin E, collagen, jojoba oil, palm oil and soy protein.
Another special aspect of the IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara is that its tube was designed to look like the Drybar Half Pint Round brush (used for achieving a bouncy blowout) in the brand’s signature yellow and gray colors.
While the (super cute!) tube looks like a mini version of the blowout brush, the bristles on the mascara wand have little balls on the tips to help separate the lashes so they don’t get clumpy. Seriously, IT Cosmetics did its due diligence! Take a look at the video below…
So, what do I think about this latest launch from IT Cosmetics? Here are my before and after pics so you can see the results for yourself!
IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara gives me great volume without making my lashes look clumpy. The formula delivers not only on the fullness front, but also lifts and separates lashes quite nicely. All I need is two coats of this mascara to make my lashes look lush and full!
It layers on easily without clumping and the bristle brush does a good job getting every single lash, adding thickness and separation. Even better, there’s no heaviness so my lashes feel soft and comfortable, not at all crunchy or stiff. And that’s a BIG plus in my book! My eyes get irritated very easily and I can’t stand it when a mascara feels crunchy or heavy.
I can also count on this mascara to stay put all day long. It doesn’t flake, smudge or smear. Plus, it’s easy to remove at the end of the day with just a few swipes of my eye makeup remover.
I had my friend Rachel try out the mascara too and she was also impressed by how it volumizes without any clumps. In the pic below, she has only used one thorough coat. Also, she was pleasantly surprised that it lasted even through a sweaty Zumba class without smearing (although the formula isn’t waterproof!)
Bottom Line
If clumpiness is your biggest concern, IT Cosmetics Lash Blowout Mascara is a must-try! Not only does it add volume that won’t clump or flake but also lifts your lashes beautifully. Not to mention, the formula is enriched with good-for-your-hair ingredients like biotion for healthier lashes!
