Here are some of my new summer beauty favorites! Sun protection plus a glowy, breathable base equals the perfect summer glow while adding a mist for a fresh feel-good finishing touch —girl math, right?
elf Halo Glow Skin Tint SPF 50 ($18): This hydrating skin tint delivers light, buildable coverage with a natural dewy finish – plus zinc oxide mineral SPF 50 sunscreen without any white cast. The formula is also infused with good- for-your-skin ingredients including niacinamide plus bisabolol and allantoin. You can see my detailed review here.
YSL Libre L’Eau Nue Parfum de Peau travel spray ($36): This a fresh citrus floral fragrance reminiscent of Mediterranean summers. Created with a blend of juicy citruses like green mandarin and bergamot along with sensual orange blossom and vibrant lavender, this scent encapsulates long-lasting-summer freedom.
L’Eau Nue is Libre’s first Parfum de Peau, an alcohol-free perfume with oil-in-water fragrance technology (exclusive to YSL) with skin-enhancing properties. I am really hooked on to this fragrance for summer, and find myself reaching for it almost every other day! Not to mention, the formula is alcohol-free which is definitely a plus in my book.
elf Bright Icon Vitamin C + E + Ferulic Serum ($16): This brightening serum is formulated with 15% vitamin C, 1% vitamin E and 0.5% ferulic acid for healthy, even-looking skin. It has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that absorbs easily and quickly. Non-comedogenic. I will be posting a full review of this serum next week.
Josie Maran Golden Hour Body + Hair Fragrance Mist ($26): This new feel-good fragrance mist is formulated with 100% all-natural, non-synthetic fragrances that won’t irritate sensitive skin. Argan oil and jojoba combine in a milky emulsion to nourish skin and hair while helping to extend fragrance wear time.
The sheer, weightless mist doesn’t feel sticky or leave any residue. Golden Hour is a warm, sensual scent that combines airy notes of amber, white musk, and santal. It’s a beautiful fragrance and I am loving it, but it doesn’t last very long.
BeautyStat Cosmetics C Lip Serum SPF 30 ($15) : This lip serum features vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and peptides for brightening, hydration and plumping. Plus, it contains 16.5% zinc oxide for mineral SPF 30 protection. It comes in 2 shades, peach and pink. I have the peach one but the color looks a lot more pink than peach! However, I don’t care that much about the shade being pink or peach. I just bought this lip balm for its mineral SPF formula and I like that it’s also hydrating.
Stila Stay All Day Smudge & Set Waterproof Gel Eyeliner ($23): This eyeliner is well-pigmented and glides on smoothly. It sets quickly in just a few seconds and is also safe for use on waterline. What I really love about this eyeliner is that it’s very long-lasting and stays put all day without fading away. True to its claims, the formula is waterproof and doesn’t smudge or smear. I have the shade Lionfish Bronze, a deep bronze sheen which looks so pretty!
So, these are some of my current warm-weather favorites! What beauty products have you been loving lately?
