Don’t you just love multitasking products? I sure do! And that’s why I’m stoked about my latest find – Monimay Hair Shadz Brush-on root blending sun protecting dry shampoo – it’s a 3-in-1 hair/scalp powder that not only refreshes your hair between washings but also covers your roots and contains natural sunscreen (SPF 15) for color protection.
Product Details
Hair Shadz is a revolutionary, all natural, 3-in-1 powder solution for the hair and scalp. It features patented technology to give you root blending, dry shampooing, and sun protection in one dermatologist approved formula. Monimay’s Hair Shadz uses loose mineral pigments that are 100% natural and contains no Talc or other harsh additives. An easy-to-use applicator brush makes this product an excellent choice for every woman, man, and child.Root Blending: Masks roots, ideally from the 2nd to 5th week between colorings. Dry Shampoo: Absorbs oil and prolongs the life of your hair style between shampoos. Sun Protection: Each application protects the scalps from harmful UVB and UVA sun rays
What I like :
- Brush applicator is really convenient to use (no mess!). Also, you can control/adjust the powder flow by turning the silver ring at the top of container.
- Blends well, concealing gray roots
- The color stays put until next wash and doesn’t transfer onto clothes or pillowcases
- Absorbs oil nicely and adds volume too
- No white residue issues because of the colored dry shampoo formula
- Provides natural Sun protection (SPF 15) for scalp
- Natural formula sans alcohol or other harsh chemicals
- Doesn’t give 100% gray coverage (but close enough)
- No refreshing scent
- Pricey ($29.95)
