I am always on the lookout for natural lipbalms that offer broad-spectrum SPF protection with physical suncreen. On a recent trip to Ulta, the Softlips Pure 100%Natural Sheer Lip Tint SPF 15 caught my eye and I picked up a couple of shades to try.
Softlips Pure 100% Natural Sheer Lip Tint SPF 15 ($3.99) A balm/stick applicator provides sheer, tinted color in three shades – Shell Pink, Natural Honesty and Coral Charm – with beeswax, coconut oil and other natural ingredients and provides hydrating SPF 15 protection for dry lips with zinc oxide.

Natural Honesty has a sheer, warm bronze tone and provides a soft nude tint while Coral Charm is more of a sheer dusty pink color than coral. Both the shades are subtle and do not have a lot of pigment but what I really love about these lipbalms is that they don’t look chalky on lips (like most of the physical SPF lipbalms) because of the color tint. They have a bit of shimmer too which is nice!
As for the formula, it’s very moisturizing and provides long-lasting hydration for dry lips. Not only that, it’s all-natural and free from preservatives, phthalates, sulfates, parabens, mineral oil, gluten, and also not tested on animals. Although the texture is slighly waxy, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on lips.
I like these a lot and will definitely be buying again! Softlips Pure 100% Natural Sheer Lip Tints are just perfect for everyday use to keep your lips moisturized and get a soft wash of color with added natural sun protection. I would love these even more if they offered a higher SPF of 30 or more.
Hi Harshleen, great selection, i’ve only tried the natural honesty range which i quite like. Must check out the others. Another must have lip product is Dermalogica Lip Renewal Complex, I’ve been using this for ages (it’s a bit pricey though).
