When I was first introduced to the Shenandoah fragrance, I was intrigued by the description as it features some of my favorite floral notes aka lotus, ylang ylang and also sandalwood. And when I finally gave it a whiff, the scent proved to be as beautiful as expected.
With an inviting combination of floral notes, this is a soft, aquatic fragrance that smells very fresh, clean and utterly feminine. It’s a subtle scent that’s noticeable but never overwhelms. I can’t stand heavy perfumes that just overtake you so this is just perfect. Shenandoah is not a totally unique scent but it does have a charm of its own. Although it seems more like a spring/summer fragrance, I can wear this all year around. My only hangup is that the scent doesn’t seem to last long on me – I usually get a good 3 – 4 hours and then it seems to disappear altogether.
