Ciao Bella stain is a perky fuschia that’s perfect for a fast and fresh five-minute face. The lip potion looks almost neon in the tube, but on your lips it appears as if you’ve taken a bite of a juicy strawberry. Top off the look with the shimmery peachy-pink lip gloss for an instant pick-me-up!

 

Villa Rosa stain is a soft burgundy shade that’s universally flattering. In the tube, the Villa Rosa looks like a glass of merlot, but the vino-hued stain goes on much lighter. Add the rose colored gloss (with slight shimmer) to really set the look.

 

The Tint & Shine stains go on smoothly, thanks to the unique paintbrush applicator with firm bristles that makes it easy for you to color within the lines and build up as much color as you like! What I really liked is that the stain has an alcohol-free dye and doesn’t dry out lips even when worn on its own (I tested it out without the gloss, wearing it for a few hours – if you have very dry lips, I’d recommend a lip balm underneath). The lip stain is also supposed to be waterproof and smudge proof and it does live upto its claim by holding pretty well through drinking and eating. The lip gloss is a little sticky but stays put and the hydrating formula keeps your lips moist. You might need to reapply the gloss after a couple of hours but the stain ususally lasts for about 5 – 6 hours.

Overall, color me impressed with the Skinn cosmetics Tint & Shine Luscious Lip Stain & Gloss Set! The two-in-one product provides long-lasting color plus a glossy topcoat in a convenient dual-sided tube that’s easy to throw in your purse or bag.  The price ($18 each) is reasonable too.
