Boots Extracts Rosehip Body Butter is a nourishing body butter containing Cocoa butter, Shea butter and Rosehip oil, formulated to intensively moisturize and hydrate dry skin. Derived from rosa canina seeds, the Rosehip oil is full of omega fatty acids which helps restore the moisture of the skin.
I love body butters! And Boots Extracts Rosehip body butter is one of the best I’ve tried. First off, the texture is just the way I like – slightly thick but spreads really well and soaks in instantly. There’s no greasy residue to worry about nor does it feel sticky or heavy on skin, which means you can easily get away with using it even in warm weather. It does a great job of hydrating my dry skin, leaving it noticeably soft and smooth.
As for the scent, I find it very pleasant. It’s not the most authentic rose scent but it’s lovely anyways! If you are a fan of rose-scented lotions/creams like me, you’d know it’s kind of hard to find a good one that doesn’t smell cheap, synthetic or overpowering. But this body butter smells really good – light, fresh and natural.
Although there are plenty of good-for-your-skin ingredients in this product, there are also a few less “natural” ones in the list that I wish weren’t there. But since these are at the end of the ingredient list, I’m not too concerned.
Overall, Boots Extracts Rosehip Body Butter is good stuff. I’m sure addicted to the scent! Priced reasonably ($9.99), this body butter is available easily at Target stores and also at ShopBootsUSA.com.
