I have been on the aluminum-free-deodorant bandwagon for quite a few years now but never found a natural deo as effective as Lavilin. Seriously, this is good stuff! Lavilin promises to keep you smelling fresh for up to 72 hours by eliminating perspiration odor at the source by killing stinky underarm bacteria. Although I haven’t found the deo effect to last for 72 hours i.e. 3 days, each application keeps me odor-free for at least one day and I’m happy with that.
The directions suggest to apply on clean, dry skin and preferably before bedtime for optimal results. However, I just apply it every day after my morning shower and it works for me perfectly all day. It fares very well even on the days I have my Zumba class. After the workout, there’s a faint odor but it’s way better than what I was dealing with before. It is recommended not to be applied immediately after shaving or on irritated skin and I take that precaution even with any other deo.
Bottom line Lavalin is one of the best natural, aluminum-free deodorants I’ve tried so far. The scent is really nice and fresh too! At $16 (+ S&H), it is a bit expensive than the drugstore variety deodorants but I find it to be totally worth the extra cost. You need to try this out if you want to avoid aluminum-based deo formulas. Available at lavilin.com

Oooh could it be? I have been looking for a good natural deodorant for a while now. Most don’t last 24 hours let alone 72! I too don’t mind paying a little more for a deodorant like this, since I value my health and am concerned about the parabens and aluminiums in most deodorants. Thanks for sharing!

Daisy – You are welcome! It is a pretty good one!! Worth picking up….

Very solid product in terms of performance!
However, the dispenser allows just a bit too much liquid out, making armpits somewhat messy for a few minutes. After that, all back to norm and you are good to go for 72 hours Truly remarkable!
Would recommend.

I would agree with Janett.
The applicator is definitely let’s a bit much of it out upon application. However, it is nice and dry in just a few minutes and you feel protected for a couple of days. Truly remarkable! Great for travel, sports, or stressful times. )

Used Lavilin cream with some success, (really disliked the white residue it would leave after application). Later discovered the roll-on applicator – an easy and way cleaner way to apply. Dries fast, leaves no smell, and keeps the odors at bay.
All around a winner product!

Much agreed with Harshleen – Lavilin is very much worth the higher price tag! I bought a few creams for my friends who were initially skeptical, and every single one is now a Lavilin customer!!

I just recently started using the Lavilin roll on, and boy are the they right about the 5-7 day adjustment period! I hope after 5 days it starts working.
Anyone have application tips? I tried using a small amount (about 3 passes on each armpit) but it never seems to dry! I did my makeup and hair waiting for it to dry and 30 minutes later it was still noticeably wet!
I like the scent and I’m really hoping it’ll work for me.
