Apivita Queen Bee Mild Exfoliating and Rejuvenating Cream is a mild cleansing cream that removes dead skin cells and rejuvenates the skin.The star ingredient of this cleansing cream is Royal jelly, the exclusive food of the queen bee, which is considered to be ‘the elixir of life’. Rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids, this naturally nourishing ingredient smoothes the skin and helps to maintain skin elasticity. In addition to that, the product is also infused with honey, olive oil, jojoba beads and almond oil which all help soothe and soften the skin.

As the name suggests, the texture is creamy with tiny exfoliating jojoba beads in the mix that do not feel rough on the skin. The directions suggest to apply a small amount of cream to moist skin and gently massage in an upward, circular motion for 2-3 minutes. And then rinse off with lukewarm water. Although it’s a cream based product with no foaming action, I have found it cleanses thoroughly removing all dirt and grime without leaving behind a greasy residue.

After using this facial exfoliator, my skin instantly feels fresh, softer and polished without any irritation afterwards. Those with oily to very oily skin might not appreciate the creamy formula but the texture is just fine for dry and also mature skin types. The mild formula is suitable for sensitive skin as well. It does have a scent but it’s subtle and actually quite pleasant! The product is recommended to be used 2-3 times a week, preferably at night. However, I like to use it in my morning shower routine and then follow up with a moisturizer with sunscreen.

Final verdict – Apivita Queen Bee Mild Exfoliating and Rejuvenating Cream is no doubt a wonderful product but I do think it is a bit overpriced at $50 for 2.53oz. Available at Apivita.com
