Because of my thick, dry & frizz-prone hair, I have always been fond of hair treatment oils for leave-in conditioning after shampoo. However, for my currently chemically straightened hair, I find myself reaching more for lightweight serum formulas that won’t weigh down my tresses. So, when I received the new Elujuda hair treatment oil from Milbon (it’s a Japanese professional haircare product company) for review, I wasn’t sure if it would be a good choice for me at this point.
There are two variations of the Elujuda hair treatment oil – the finer hair formula (FO) strengthens hair; the coarse/dry hair formula (MO) softens hair to create natural movement easily and quickly. I have been testing out the MO version.
The key ingredients of this leave-in hair oil are Baobab Seed Oil, Argan Oil and Olive squalene. Never heard of Baobab oil? Yeah, this one is new to me too. Baobab seed oil is extracted from seeds of Baobab tree found in West Africa and contains 11 kinds of natural fatty acids (including Vit A, D, E and omega fatty acids).
Here are the directions for use :
As stated in the directions, I section my freshly washed, towel dried hair in two and use 1 pump of the oil on each side, applying from the ends to mid-shaft. The oil has a light fruity scent that’s noticeable only while application. The formula is really lightweight and absorbs super quick without leaving any greasy residue. After applying, I just let my hair air dry or use a blow dryer depending on my schedule.
The results? Super soft, shiny and moisturized hair (not greasy-looking). It also tames frizz to a great extent. I usually wash my hair 3 times a week, and this leave-in oil doesn’t make my hair get greasy any faster than normal.
Bottom line – Elujuda Hair Treatment Oil really does soften and tames hair for easy styling while adding shine….lots of it! If you are in the market for a leave-in conditioning treatment to add a healthy dose of moisture to dry, damaged hair, this is a quality product worth picking up.
Elujuda Hair Treatment Oil will be available early next year in two different formulas – FO (for fine hair) and MO (for coarse hair). You can check out more info at Milbon-usa.com

Interesting new product. I like the elegant feel of the bottle. I wash my hair the same frequency as yours and w/o the leave-in oil or conditioner, my mane is one hot mess.

Kath – Yup, the packaging is quite nice!! Do you prefer an oil or serum type leave-in?

Nice product! I’ve been using Pro Naturals moroccan argan oil so far and it’s worked quite nicely, but I’m always open to trying new things for my hair!

Hi Harshleen
Thanks for bringing this product to my attention. With thinning hair, I have been on the lookout for particularly hair products, with natural ingredients. I think I may try the FO Elujuda being for finer hair. My hair certainly needs to be strengthened.
thanks for bringing it to my attention
