I am so excited today to feature the favorite products of one of my favorite beauty bloggers – Elvira from The Pink Sith blog. I am a long time fan of Pink Sith…in fact it’s actually one of the first beauty blogs that I ever read and got hooked! Elvira’s amazing sense of humor is another reason I love it…..be sure to check it out!!
Now let’s take a look at some of her favorites :
1. Nivea A Kiss Of Shine Lip Balm
I have yet to find a lip balm that works as well as this one. It’s inexpensive, it hydrates, it’s not greasy or waxy and when I put it on at night my lips are soft and supple the next morning. You can’t beat that!
The purpley grey taupe is my go-to shadow on days when I don’t have a lot of time and need a nice wash of color on my lids. The shadow lasts all day, doesn’t crease and is truly a stunning color!
3. LORAC Behind The Scenes Eye Primer
This is my new favorite primer. I love the thick texture and exceptional hold it provides for my shadows. I also love the fact that I can wear shadows all day without creasing!
4. Chanel Joues Contraste Blushes
I am seriously addicted to this blush. Any color will do. These little domed blushes are mistake proof and provide such a beautiful and natural flush to the cheeks. You can’t go wrong.
5. Lancome Dual Finish Foundation Powder
I love that it has a very wide ranges of shades for almost all skin tones. I love the great coverage it provides and I love that when I use it my skin looks flawless!
6. Stages of Beauty The Elegance Treatment Cream
This is a very straightforward face cream. It’s rather emollient so I only use it at night, but whenever my skin gets cranky this cream always calms it down.
7. Holika Holika Peach Girl BB Cream
Not only does this BB cream come in a shade light enough for my pale skin, it also comes with a lovely little creme blush in the lid. The BB Cream is my favorite for long wear, a nice finish and non oily look. Also it doesn’t break me out and saves several makeup steps n the morning. I can almost apply and go! A huge time saver!
8. Boscia MakeUp-BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil
This is the best cleansing oil I have used in a long time. It’s effective, rinses clean, inexpensive and have a nice neutral scent. I am on my 4th bottle of the stuff. I don’t plan to change my preferred brand any time soon!
9. Guerlain Rouge G de Jewel Lipstick
Hey, I know they are very expensive and I know that these are lean times but sometimes, just sometime, we all need to splurge. When I splurge I get a Guerlain Rouge G Lipstick. Not only is the heavy metal case with built in mirror decadent, but the lipstick itself is one of THE BEST formula lipsticks I have ever used. The wide range of colors makes it possible for almost everyone to find their perfect shade. Sadly, I have several “perfect shades”…more than my wallet has money.
10. Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I pretty much wear my liner in a cat eye every day. After YEARS of repetitive lining I have the application down pat. But when Urban Decay came out with its line of Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliners I was in heaven. The colors are opaque and pigmented, the liner does not smudge at all..ever and the application is super easy with the ultra thin brush provided in the cap. If they ever discontinue these liners you will hear a deafening “Nooooo!” coming from my part of the world. So far they look like they are here for a good long time.
Elvira from The Pink Sith Blog likes to take a funny and irreverent view on the world of beauty. She has an unhealthy obsession with Taupe Eyeshadow, is a little TOO well known at her Local Neiman Marcus and is a full time Star Wars geek. The Pink Sith blog launched in 2008 after Elvira’s husband encouraged her to stop talking about blush and start writing about it. In 2012 The Pink Sith Blog was selected to be one of 8 blogs featured on the NeimanMarcus.com website, selecting items for the Neiman Marcus Beauty Awards. The style of her writing can range anywhere from gushing over the latest taupe eyeshadow to a fairy tale story to describe a perfume. Elvira strives to maintain open and honest communication with her readers and makes her reviews on beauty less “clinical” and more fun!
Thanks so much Elvira for taking the time to do this favorite products post for my blog!

Love it! As Pink Sith fangirl (ponder the irony of THAT one), it’s great to see her list of must-haves.
