I got a chance to try out one of their most popular products – Caribbean Solutions Kukui Body Silk ($15) which is an all-natural body lotion formulated without any harsh chemicals, parabens, petroleum derivatives, or artificial fragrance.

As the name suggests, the featured ingredient of this lotion is Kukui oil from the islands of Hawaii. It’s a natural oil that absorbs quickly and can penetrate into the deepest skin layers, while creating a protective shield that locks in moisture. Plus, the formula has also been infused with lots of other good-for-your-skin stuff like squalene oil from Sicilian olives, shea butter, rosehip oil and Vitamin E. Also, instead of parabens as preservatives, the product has only a food grade natural sorbate and various plant extracts shown to have natural preservative abilities.
Texture wise, the lotion is rich but not at all greasy or sticky and soaks in fast. I put it on right after shower on damp skin to maximize the moisturizing effect and it does leave my skin smooth and supple. The scent is lovely too – light and fresh. The fragrance doesn’t persist for long.

My skin looks pale during the winter. That’s why I have tried & still trying for a moisturizer which will suit my skin. I am going to try this one. Let’s see what comes out of that.
