Spring is officially here, which means it’s time to say buh-bye to the winter wardrobe and show off a little extra skin very soon! But if you have dry skin like me year-around (especially the winter months), shaving can feel like a hassle sometimes. Which is why I was happy to try out the new Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment with Coconut Milk & Almond Oil Razor that has been designed for women with dry skin as it lathers, shaves and moisturizes during shaving—all in one easy step, with no need for shave gel, soap or body wash.
Infused with coconut milk and almond oil, the Pure Nourishment Skin Conditioning Solid surrounding the pivoting razor head with four blades, eliminates the need for shaving gel/cream and leaves dry skin feeling noticeably soft. The package comes with 2 cartridges and also a handy suction cup holder so you can hang it in the shower.
I usually shave in the shower and basically all I need to get the job done is this razor. I love how easily it glides over the legs giving me a comfortably close shave and for once I didn’t nick myself. I am terrble at nicking myself while shaving, so to have a razor that lets me shave without any nicks and cuts is great! Plus, no flaky dry skin anymore! Also, I love the delicious coconut and almond scent.
Although this razor leaves my skin noticeably smoother after shaving, I still like to apply a body lotion afterwards. It’s a long time habit of mine so my everyday routine doesn’t feel complete if I don’t do that but in a pinch, I can easily skip a moisturizer with this razor.
The new Schick Intuition Pure Nourishment with Coconut Milk & Almond Oil Razor is now available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide for $11.99 and the 3pk replacement cartridges are $11.97.
Looking for a non-greasy hydrating formula to add extra moisturize? Try c. Booth 4-in-1 Coconut Fig Body Lotion($9.99). This 4-in-1 multi-action body lotion promotes healthy cell turnover with a powerful combination of Alpha Hydroxy Acids while Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil nourish and deeply moisturize for lasting softness, and a kick of caffeine firms and tones tired skin. Vitamins A and E provide antioxidant support to the skin, while Coconut Oil adds to the delicious aroma and strengthens the underlying tissues for legs you can’t help but show off! Plus, the bottle is HUGE!

That sounds like a real keeper! It can be hard to really know when its time to throw out your razor and it seems like once the surrounding conditioning solid is gone it’s probably time to throw it out. With summer just around the corner (although I am looking out the window at a white out snow storm 🙂 I really need to start thinking about getting my legs in shorts condition.

Victoria – Yes, I really like it! When the skin conditioning solid wears and you see or feel any part of the green base, it is time to replace the cartridge.

Love how moisturizing this sounds. I agree with Victoria, my legs are not shorts ready. I neglect shaving in the winter ick!

Tina – It’s a really good one! And the sweet tropical scent is an added bonus!

Thanks for the great review! I’ve been searching for a razor which wouldn’t feel too hard on my skin after I shaved the hair on my legs, good thing, this razor will keep your skin smoother after you shave. Will definitely try this.
