Impala is a Brazilian nail polish brand that recently launched in the US, bringing with it the brightest and boldest colors from Brazil! Impala polishes are 3-free, and many of them are also hypoallergenic.
I received a few shades from their new summer collection Impala Tropicaliente. Let’s start with Biquini Vermelho (698). This is a gorgeous bright red with a high glossy finish. The formula was rather thin but didn’t streak nor did I have to apply several coats just to even out the color. This was just 2 coats.
Next I have is Amor de Verao (697). This shimmery hot pink is my favorite of the bunch but somehow I broke the bottle even before taking the pics. The formula was very easy to work with and I achieved evenly colorful painted nails just by applying 2 coats.
Verde Passaro (30) is a deep turqoise blue with shimmer. This one isn’t from the summer collection. Very pretty shade but the formula was a bit thicker and started off streaky. It required only 2 coats but the finish was still a little patchy on some spots.
For all the above nail colors, I only used a basecoat and no topcoat. The drying time was pretty quick (about a minute or so). As for the longevity, I got about 4 days without chipping from these Impala polishes. Overall, I really like the colors and the formula. Definitely worth trying out!
The prices of Impala nail polishes range from $5 – 9 (0.25 oz) depending on the color. Available at mundialimpala.com.
