Pacific Illusions Beauty is a wearable mineral collection of cosmetics inspired by exotic destinations both near and far – from gorgeous beaches to secluded island getaways. This mineral makeup line is based on the concept of “free” – paraben free, talc free, fragrance free, cruelty free and stress free. All products are hypoallergenic, gentle and unscented without harmful parabens and talc that can be absorbed into the skin. These cosmetics are made in the USA and are not tested on animals.
I have been testing out a few Pacific Illusions Beauty products and the first one that I am showcasing today is their Mineral lipstick.

The shades that I tried are :
Antigua is a soft plummy pink. This one is exactly the kind of lipstick I find irresistible! It’s the perfect shade of pink for me…..easy-to-wear anytime and so pretty! (It actually looks more plum in the tube that it is) The level of pigment is high enough to give a nice pop of color, but the sheer (yet buildable) formula ensures that the look is neutral enough not to compete with my eye makeup. I’ve been reaching out for it quite often.
Palm Beach is a peachy nude. It’s quite pigmented for a nude shade, definitely more than I expected. It would look fabulous with a smoky eye!
Coronado is a medium pink coral. Another gorgeous shade that’s perfect for summers! It’s fun and bright but not over the top bright. The shimmer you see in the swatches below is much more restraint on the lips.
As for the formula, these lipsticks are creamy and nicely moisturizing with a satin finish. The consistency has a good slip that enables it to glide across the lips smoothly and deposit color evenly without being too slippery. You won’t really need a lip balm underneath. All the above shades have a subtle sheen that dulls down after about an hour or so. They wear very comfortably throughout and stay on surprisingly well (around three hours with some staining left even after a meal).
Overall, I love these! Not only are the shades pretty and pigmented but the formula is also fairly long-lasting and feels good on the lips without any funky smell or taste.
