ncLA is a new, fashion forward, luxury nail brand based in Los Angeles. Available in high-end retail outlets and boutiques, the line has been featured in many fashion magazines such as Flare, Vogue, Elle and Glamour. All ncLA nail lacquers are 100% free of DBP, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Camphor and never tested on animals.
ncLA has introduced their new summer line of nail polish collection, Sweet Revenge.
About the collection :
Three 5-free and cruelty free lacquers. Inspired by a day at the carnival, this collection is a proof that you can have your cake and eat it too, just in time for the sweet (and spicy) days of summer.
I tried 2 shades from the Sweet Revenge summer collection – Sugar Fix and Mostly Sunny With A Chance Of Sprinkles.
Sugar Fix is a jelly grey lacquer with fuchsia and electric blue glitter. I am no expert when it comes to glitter polishes but the application on this one was pretty easy and I was able to get a nice (although not perfect) even finish. It appeared to be too sheer to wear on its own at first but I got a nice opaque coverage in 3 coats. I never ever pick up grey nail colors but love this one….those pink and blue glitters are just so pretty!
Mostly Sunny With A Chance Of Sprinkles is a rich sky blue cream with navy blue glitter. This one was also easy to work with and applied quite smoothly. It took just 2 coats for full opacity. Not much streakiness which I love. I really like this polish too…it’s one of those few light blue shades that I think look flattering on me.
ncLA Sweet Revenge nail polishes retail for $16 each and are available at shopncla.com. And for those who live in Canada, you can pick these up at nailpolishcanada.com
