Skinn Cosmetics Dream Team Double Ended Eyeliners combine two complimentary shades in one, with a thin side to create dramatic definition to the eyes and the thicker side to highlight and complement the liner for a polished and finished look.
Product Description
Dream Team is the combination of a thick and thin version of Skinn’s ever popular Luxe Waterproof Eyeliners in two different shades, creating the ultimate liner duo. These Luxe Liners go on smoothly, even on crepey lids. They contain peptides, shea butter and jojoba to help firm and smooth dry lids.
I tried out two shades : Forest/Dew and Aubergine/Mist
Forest is a pale green/gray shade with shimmer. Dew is a dark green shade with a subtle shimmer.
Aubergine is a dark eggplant purple shade. Mist is a light purple/gray shade with a subtle shimmer.
First off, I love that these eyeliners have a twist-up retractable design so no sharpening required which is always a plus for me! They have a soft & creamy formula that glides on smoothly without any tugging or pulling. The color payoff is really good, although not as rich and intense as the Skinn Cosmetics Smudge Sticks. As you can see from the swatches below, there is a subtle hint of shimmer in the shades Mist and Forest but that’s hardly noticeable on the eyes.
These eyeliners are quite long-lasting and the color stays put on my upper lash line for the entire day without smudging or fading (it doesn’t budge even on a hot day outside) However, it tends to fade off a bit on my lower lashline after about 4 – 5 hours of wear (but I liked that there’s no migrating and settling into the fine creases under my eyes so no raccoon eyes!) Here are the swatches :
Overall, I like the Skinn cosmetics Dream Team Double Ended Eyeliners for their smooth no-smudge formula and the combination of two complimentary shades in one eye pencil. They are also priced reasonably at $12.50 each. The only little downside is these are not as richly pigmented as I prefer my eyeliners to be.
