I’ll be honest… if there is a brand I have been lusting after, it is Amarte Cosmetics. Being a skincare enthusiast, I believe skincare is the ultimate beauty indulgence and Amarte’s motto “Love yourself, love your skin” resonates through each of their products and approach to a skincare regimen. And I have to admit, I’m also smitten by the luxe packaging of their “feel good” products that look so gorgeous on your vanity!

I’ve started using a few products from Amarte’s skincare range recently and totally loving it! The first one that I am reviewing here today is the Amarte Natural Finish BB Cream which is described as a sheer moisturizing face tint that evens skin tone while providing sun protection.

I tried this BB cream in the shade ‘Natural Tint’ which turned out to a great match for my medium, NC-25 ish skintone, once it’s all blended. (it’s also available in one other shade option ‘Light Tint’) Packaged in an attractive airless pump container, this BB cream boasts of quiet a few skin loving ingredients like Argan and Macadamia oils as well as shea butter and caviar extract. Plus, it offers durable broad spectrum SPF 36 protection headed up by the physical sun blocker titanium dioxide.
The formula has a rich & creamy texture that smooths and blends very easily, providing uniform coverage for a natural look, without a heavy/greasy feel on the skin. One pump is all you need for your face and neck. It’s moisturizing enough for my normal to dry skin so that I can easily skip a moisturizer underneath…just perfect for these summer months! It has a lovely, satin finish that adds a subtle healthy-skin glow without the unwanted shine, which makes it suitable for almost all skin types.
In terms of coverage, this BB cream has a build able medium to full coverage formula that evens out my complexion beautifully and covers up most of the imperfections like dark spots and light acne scars. The lasting power is impressive too as it stays looking smooth and fresh pretty much all day without fading away. Here is a swatch :

I would love to try this. My skin has been nice the last weeks so I want my makeup to be lightweight. I just hope it will also match my skin tone, medium warm.

I was amazed by how high the sunscreen content is yet it doesn’t sting my eyes at all! SO gentle. Love, love love.
