Did you know that today, October 10th is World Sight Day?
Have you had your eyes examined this year? If not, today is the day to make a pledge to schedule an eye examination! Sight is so important. Approximately 285 million people worldwide are visually impaired; an eye exam is the first step in diagnosis and treatment of eye-related conditions.
In honor of the World Sight Day, VISTAKON® Division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care is offering a giveaway package to drive awareness of the cause and raise money for the charity Sight for Kids.
The prize pack includes :
• One month’s supply of Acuvue Brand Contact Lenses
• A pair of Ralph Lauren UV-blocking sunglasses ($124.90 value)
In order to enter the contest, you’ll need to “Take the #EyePledge” and promise to get your eyes tested by posting to any of your social media sites like Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using the #EyePledge hashtag.
You can also take an eye selfie photo and upload the photo to www.donateaphoto.com with #EyePledge, or share on your social media sites. For every photo uploaded, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care will donate $1, up to $30,000, to generate contributions for Sight for Kids, a charity that provides eye exams to needy children.
