NYC Cosmetics HD Trio Eye Shadow Palette in Skyrise Steel – Skyrise Steel (a black, an ivory and a silver) is a great trio for using by itself for a smoky look, but it’s also great to pair with other palettes or singles. This eyeshadow trio is packed with pigment and has a smooth, easily blendable texture. Even without primer, this one lasted decently well on my lids without much fading or creasing.

NYC Cosmetics Smooch Proof 16HR Lip Stain, Rock on Ruby – This is one of the best drugstore lip stains I’ve tried! It provides excellent color payoff with easily buildable coverage. The felt-tip applicator makes it an easy application. The color goes on smooth and really sticks around, lasting well into the afternoon for me on a typical day! The formula is great to wear alone or layer under your favorite gloss or lipstick.

NYC Cosmetics Liquid Lipshine ($2.49) – Moisturizing and nicely pigmented with a beautiful glossy shine – this lipgloss is a new favorite for me! I loved the color Chelsea Pink (shimmery peachy pink) and it stays put for about 2-3 hours before having to touch up. This gorgeous lipgloss has been a great addition to my lippie collection!

NYC Cosmetics Cheek Glow Blush – This cute blush powder compact provides soft, natural-looking color to cheeks. Just sweep it on for a sheer, beautiful flush of color.

NYC Cosmetics Liquid Eyeliner – I am usually not a liquid eyeliner fan but found this one very easy to apply. It didn’t give me a hard time getting a straight line and glided on easily with no mistakes. As for the color (I used black), the formula is really pigmented and you won’t have to layer it on for more pop….you can do fine or bold lines without the fuss. It lasts all day without any smudging or fading.

NYC Cosmetics Show Time Volumizing Waterproof Mascara ($3.99) – The waterproof formula promises to stand up to smudges and smears all day – with no need to worry about it dripping down your cheeks. I like this mascara for everyday…it adds a nice volume to your lashes and really lives up to the smudge-proof claim – great for summertime!

Here is the look I created :

This look is all about sexy eyes with a pop of color on the lips! Starting with the eyes, use HD Trio Eye Shadow Palette in Skyrise Steel. First, pat the gray silver shade all over the lids, then apply the shimmery black to the crease and the corner of the eyes, blending the black upwards and outwards. Next, use a little bit of the white shade, putting it right next to the tear duct – this really opens up the eyes and create a nice highlight. Then use the NYC liquid eyeliner to add a bit more definition and the NYC Show Time Volumizing Waterproof Mascara to pull the whole look together.

For the cheeks, NYC Cosmetics Cheek Glow Blush adds a soft, natural rosy flush. And last, but definitely not the least, use the NYC Cosmetics Smooch Proof 16HR Lip Stain in Rock on Ruby for a bold lip. As you can see, the color is so vibrant! After the base lip color, top it off with NYC Cosmetics Liquid Lipshine in Chelsea Pink for a beautiful glossy finish….and you are done!The best thing about this whole look is that all the products used to create it are under $20!
