After a long day, it can be really tempting to fall into bed without bothering to cleanse your skin. No big real, right? Well, if you routinely skip this important step, it will start to take its toll. Leaving your makeup on can clog pores, causing a build up of impurities, dead skin cells and eventually breakouts and premature signs of aging. I am pretty sure you already knew this but it’s always worth a quick reminder!
When it comes to taking off my makeup, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m also pretty lazy and often sometimes find myself reaching for those pre-moistened makeup removing wipes. But you and I both know that’s not always enough, especially if you are a fan of long-wearing, waterproof makeup. That’s where Osmosis’s new Melt Away Gelee comes in! It’s one of the lightest of all makeup removing products I’ve tried, but doesn’t fall short of effectiveness so you won’t have to spend much time and effort in taking off your makeup.
Osmosis Colour Cosmetics Melt Away Gelee is a paraben-free, soothing gel that gently breaks down and sweeps away rich pigments and waterproof formulas, without stripping your skin of moisture thanks to conditioning botanical extracts like aloe vera, jojoba oil and avocado oil.
Just use a cotton ball or Q-tip to apply and it gently wipes away all traces of makeup including your waterproof mascara, eye shadow and foundation. I like that it doesn’t leave my skin feeling greasy or soapy, unlike many liquid makeup removers. While my makeup removing wipes may be my late night go-to for a quick clean-up, it’s comforting to know I’ve got this gentle makeup removing gel in my beauty cabinet!
Available at blush.com for $16.

What a great product! I almost always wash my face at night, whether I have makeup on or not. My mom taught that to me when I was a teenager, and I figured if she had beautiful skin at her age, then I should probably listen! LOL

BeHappyPolish That’s what I do too! And just like in your case, the credit goes to my mom 🙂
