Let me start with the packaging – the tubes are cute, twist open effortlessly, and show a great sample color in the middle, so you know exactly what color you’re getting. As promised, the formula is super creamy and moisturizing and glides on lips buttery smooth…..truly a delightful treat for dry lips! Not only does it instantly hydrates lips but also provides a nice punch of color with a sheer to medium buildable color payoff in a few swipes. And I like that even though this lipstick is super creamy, it still has good staying power with an average wear time of 2-3 hours. (with minimal drinking/eating of course)
Let’s take a look at the 3 colors I tried :
A-Lister is a bright pink shade.
Smooth Talker is a soft peachy nude shade.
Fashionista is a bright pinky coral shade.
Both Fashionista and A-Lister look bright and punchy in the tube but are not at all over the top and very wearable! I’m a big fan of natural nude lips but Smooth Talker didn’t work out for me….it’s just too pale for my lips and sometimes gives me a washed out kinda look on its own so I will probably use it to mix with brighter lipsticks to tone them down for daytime wear. I think it would look much better on those with cool toned, fair complexions. My favorite is definitely Fashionista – it’s a very flattering peachy-pink that’s totally my kind of shade and just perfect for summer!
