This is a beautifully formulated lipgloss with a lightweight, smooth cream-gloss texture that’s not sticky or tacky and glides across the lips like a dream! True to its name, the formula really has a serum-like consistency that feels super moisturizing and keeps my lips very comfortably hydrated throughout the wear time. Even after the gloss itself has faded away, my lips feel soft and supple….thanks to all the good stuff in the formula including hyaluronic acid, peptides, shea butter, avocado oil, argan oil, jojoba and more! The formula has a faint vanilla scent/flavor that fades away pretty quickly.
Not only hydration, this lipgloss also packs a good deal of pigment with a lovely, high shine finish. I tried the shade Love that’s a pretty, dusky rose which is perfect for everyday wear as well as pairing with a lipstick for more formal occasions. The color looks very natural on lips and can easily be sheered out or layered for a more opaque finish. It’s one of those colors that would look good on almost all skin tones. The staying power is about 2-3 hours (with minimal drinking/eating), which I think is pretty good for such a moisturizing, non-sticky lipgloss. Here are the swatches :

It Cosmetics has another winner in their new CC+ Lip Serum Hydrating Anti-Aging Color Correcting Crème Gloss ($24 each). Much more than just an ordinary lipgloss, it’s perfect to treat your lips every time you apply the lip color! Two thumbs up!
