Have you heard of Gloss48? If you like to discover and shop indie beauty brands, it’s the perfect shopping destination for you!
Gloss48 is an online beauty retailer that launches new niche, indie beauty products every day, and for the first week those products are offered on sale at a promotional value, so that you can try new products without breaking the bank. After the launch week, you can still shop an amazing collection of indie beauty at full price. New members of Gloss48 get $10 off of their first order of $30 or more.
Today I am introducing you to Bodyography, a boutique professional makeup line that will be launched at Gloss48 on thursday, October 30th. Here’s some info about this niche beauty brand :
Bodyography Professional Cosmetics offers mineral based makeup, boasting clean ingredient lists and sleek and simple packaging. Infused with skincare benefits such as fruit and plant derived vitamins and antioxidants, Bodyography is more than just your traditional makeup line. The color payoff and quality of Bodyography is clear cut, but what really makes this brand shine is the way the makeup feels on the skin – the weightless effect of Bodyography makeup is incomparable. Certified as a Cruelty Free Brand by PET. Vegan, Gluten & Paraben Free.
I tried out 2 Bodyography products – Exfoliating Lip Duo ($25) and Cream Eyeshadow in Gleam ($2o)
Bodyography Exfoliating Lip Duo is a sugar lip scrub and solid lip oil infused with antioxidant-rich Marula Oil, that smooths and conditions lips. It comes in a sleek (and stylish!) dual compartment compact with mirror that houses both products. Formulated with marula oil, avocado oil, coconut oil, mango butter and shea butter, this lip duo neutralizes free radicals, soothes irritation and provides antioxidant-rich nourishment & healing for dry lips. And the delicious mojito scent and flavor make this two-in-one product hard to resist!
I love how the lip scrub (green) leaves my lips feeling super soft and smooth. It doesn’t feel gritty and does a great job of gently exfoliating lips without any irritation. As for the solid lip oil, it offers a healthy dose of moisture plus shine….such a deliciously moisturizing treat for dry lips! Although expensive at $25, this 2-in-1 product is worth the splurge to keep your lips smooth & kissable during the cold & dry, winter months!
Next I have is the Bodyography Crushed Pearl Cream eyeshadow in Gleam, a beautiful shimmery bronze. It has a highly pigmented, cream to powder shadow formula with loose glitter pigments. I really like its satiny-smooth texture that’s easy to apply and gives a punch of color with just the right amount of sparkle for day and night. Gleam would be such a lovely shade for any of your festive, holiday looks! Here it is swatched :
There are 3 other shades available in Bodyography’s cream eyeshadow range. I am loving that pink & gold shade….looks gorgeous!
Here’s a look I created using the cream eyeshadow in Gleam and Christopher Drummond lip gloss in Cinnamon and Mirenesse cosmetics lip bomb in 31.Gold (both these products are also available at Gloss48). These colors work so beautifully together!
Bodyography cosmetics will be on sale (25% off) at Gloss48 beginning October 30 at 11am, ending November 6 at 11am. Plus, you get $10 off your first purchase of $30 or more. Be sure to check it out!
