GLOSSYBOX Holiday 2014 is here!! GLOSSYBOX is one of my favorite subscription boxes. Each month I look forward to get this beautifully packaged box of beauty goodies from popular luxury brands as well as niche, indie brands that I really enjoy using. This month’s GLOSSYBOX is extra special with its Paint the town red holiday theme. Dresssed in soft touch red velvet with gold embellishments, this limited edition collectible box is filled with 8 festive beauty products (7 full sized)…$140 value for only $40!
Here’s what was inside my GLOSSYBOX this month :
Calvin Klein Reveal (deluxe size) – Designed to express Calvin Klein’s core brand identity, this a sensual oriental is characterized by freshness and warmth. Blended with orris and drydown of rich sandalwood, this is a lovely fragrance! I really like the scent and the travel-size is perfect for tucking in my purse.
Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Wind (Full size, $20) – I have tried only a few of Jouer cosmetics products and really liked them so it was great to find one of their lipglosses in the box. Enriched with vitamin E, shea butter and jojoba seed oil to soften and moisturize lips, this hydrating gloss is a beautiful pinky nude shade that would look great on all skin tones.
Korres Volcanic Minerals Volumizing Mascara (Full size, $20) – This mascara features volcanic soil minerals for a deep, dark black color and an explosive increase in lash volume. It has a tapered brush head with unique cross-hatch bristles to ensure smooth, clump-free application. It really is quite volumizing and lasts long without any smudging or flakes.
NCLA Nail Lacquer in Satin Sheets, Velvet Ropes (Full size, $16) – What a stunning, shimmery red shade!! I love me some bright red nail polish and this nail color has been a fabulous addition to my ever growing collection…love the name too and it’s 5-free.
The Lip Bar Lipstick in Crimson Wonderland (Full size, $25) – I’ve never heard of this brand before but really like this candy apple red lip color…perfect holiday lippie! It’s cruelty-free and infused with nourishing ingredients like organic shea butter, avocado oil and coconut oil.
Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Loose Colour Concentrates in Smote (Full size, $14) I have tried OCC’s amzing lip tars before but this is the first time I got my hands on their loose color pigment…thanks to GLOSSYBOX! This gorgeous holographic micronized color pigment is infused with light-reflecting mica to impart a multidimensional glimmering effect and can be used to apply shimmer on the eyes, lips or cheeks. I am loving the beautiful rose gold shade!
Teadora Nourishing Lip Butter in Rainforest at Dawn (Full size, $15) – I have already reviewed this lip butter. Packed with maracuja, acai oils and mango butter, it’s a delicious, citrusy treat for dry lips.
Cargo TexasLiner Liquid Eye Liner (Full size, $20) – This is a chubby felt tip liquid eyeliner with a water-based formula that glides on smoothly. I am not a big fan of liquid eyeliners and wish there had been a pencil eyeliner instead. But if you like liquid/felt tip eyeliners, this is a good one!
Bottom Line
GLOSSYBOX Holiday 2014 is amazing! With 8 beauty products (7 of them full-sized cosmetics and a deluxe sized perfume), it offers a great selection of items from a beautiful red lipstick and nail polish to a rich, ultra pigmented shadow and eyeliner. Valued at $140, this limited edition holiday GLOSSYBOX also makes a fantastic gift for for any beauty lover on your list or for yourself! Well done GLOSSYBOX!
