The theme for the March 2015 Beauty Box 5 is Hustle. This month’s box includes goodies to amp up your beauty routine for spring with bold lashes and liner while pampering your skin! Let’s check it out:
Styli-Style Line & Seal Twist Mechanical Eye Liner (full size, $5): Being an eyeliner addict, I am always happy to try out a new eyeliner! The shade I received is Raisin, it’s a plummy-purple that I really like. The formula is creamy and goes on smoothly with a great color payoff. And with its twist-up design, you never need to use a sharpener. This one is definitely a great find for me!
Laugh Out Loud Lipgloss by Nanacoco (full size, $4) – This is a pretty good lipgloss with a lightweight, non-sticky formula. The shade I got is called Cherry Blossom which is a medium pink with a hint of shimmer. It’s a beautiful, universally flattering kind of shade that’s great for everyday use. I like it!
Scandalous Waterproof Mascara by Nanacoco (full size, $5) – This mascara is supposed to give you “va-va-voom” volume with its thickening, waterproof formula. I tried it out and it was good but nothing too exciting. This mascara doesn’t flake and lasts almost all day which is always a plus!
Eslor Introductory Collection – This little sample kit comes with 4 foil sample packets including the Soothing Refiner & Cleanser, Firming Collagen Day Cream, Botanical Peeling Gel and Chlorophyll Lifting Mask. I am not a fan of using foil samples and would rather have one small tube of product than these packets. That said, I’ve heard good things about the Eslor skincare line.
Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Cream (sample size) – This is a natural body lotion that hydrates with an organic blend of oils and healing aloe vera. I like that it’s ligtweight & non-greasy and the scent is quite nice as well.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with my March Beauty Box 5. I love the quality and color of the Styli Style eyeliner, and the Nanacoco lipgloss is pretty good too! Except for the Eslor skincare foil samples, I will be using up everything. With a good mix of makeup and skincare, this month’s box was well-curated.
