Beauty oils have finally started to get the recognition they deserve. Not only do body oils lend a more luxurious, pampering feel to boring moisturization, but they’re actually packed to the brim with skincare benefits, for every skin type. Being natural, they are healthier for your skin and basically offer a one-stop beauty solution for your skin, hair, body and nails!
Let me introduce you today to Oil Essentials, a line of luxurious (yet affordable!) beauty oils that inspire the senses while providing amazing beauty benefits to deliver gorgeous, glowing skin and healthy, shiny hair. Made with natural & sustainable blends of essential oils and fortified with an advanced anti-aging Luxmeadow E™ Complex, each of these 6 luxurious oils gently works to nourish and heal your skin. Free from parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and synthetic colors, Oil Essentials is available in 6 different blends :
- Sea buckthorn Berry and Borage
- Neroli & Avocado
- Argan & Wheat Germ
- Sweet Almond and Macadamia
- Lavender & Rosehip
- Omega 3, 6, 9 & Evening Primrose
I have been trying out the Neroli & Avocado and also the Omega 3, 6, 9 & Evening Primrose blend.
Neroli & Avocado – This is a unique blend of neroli and avocado oils, boosted with sesame seed, meadowfoam seed, cardamom seed and citrus oils. Neroli is one of nature’s most effective stress relievers while Avocado is rich in Vitamins A, D and E and essential fatty acids, which help to maintain healthy supple skin.
Aside from its rejuvenating benefits, Neroli oil also has anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties that makes it ideal for oily and blemished skin. It tones and balances the skin by controlling overproduction of sebum. An oil that keeps my acne-prone skin happy….count me in! And its light, sweet floral fragrance is a big bonus…it always perks me up!
Omega 3, 6, 9 & Evening Primrose – A revitalizing, light combination of evening primrose, sunflower seed and meadowfoam seed oils, boosted with inca-inchi oil – rich in omega 3,6 and 9 that help maintain skin’s elasticity and natural hydration levels. Evening primrose oil has been used for reducing skin blemishes and redness, and promotes an even skin tone. It is recommended for dry, sensitive, and aging skin.
What I love the most about these oils is their lightweight texture that’s not at all greasy! The formula soaks in super fast without leaving an oily, sticky residue on the skin so I can easily continue using them in the warmer spring and summer months. I have been using them instead of my usual body lotions right after a shower, when skin is clean and moist, for better absorption and hydration benefits. For my face, I use it as a “beauty booster” by adding a drop of oil to my moisturizer.
The Oil Essentials blends can also be used to nourish dry cuticles, rough elbows, heels and knees by applying a few drops and massaging into the area as needed. And just a few drops applied to your hair helps with frizz, flyaways and static. You can also mix in a few drops of these oils with your conditioner or leave-in product for an instant moisture boost!
