It’s no secret that I take my skincare very seriously but that’s not how it was in my younger years. I had beautiful skin as a teenager and (luckily) didn’t have to deal much with acne, even though I took my low-maintenance, clear complexion for granted. I didn’t pay much attention to keeping my skin protected from the sun and sometimes even skipped washing my face at night (gasp!) even though my mom constantly reminded me about it.
While it was all good in my younger years, my reckless skincare habits left me completely unprepared for the changes in my skin especially those dark spots that seem to be hanging around. Well, how I wish I was smarter about caring for my skin back then! Thankfully, as I’ve gotten older and wiser, I’ve learned to appreciate my skin more and make sure to protect & nourish it every morning and night. Now I wear sunscreen religiously and stay away from the sun as much as possible. As they say, it’s never too late to start a healthy routine!
I am turning 35 this year and make sure to use the right skincare products that help me ward off sun damage and do other handy things like brighten skin tone, smooth fine lines and prevent future damage too. So, basically I want to give my complexion a lifelong pick-me-up (who doesn’t?) for healthier, younger-looking skin.
That’s exactly what the L’Oreal RevitaLift™ skincare line is all about! L’Oréal has always been one of my favorite drugstore beauty brands, and I’m excited to let you know that L’Oréal Paris has introduced a new skin care website built around the insight that everyone’s skin tells its own unique story and no two stories are the same.
With this new destination, lorealskinexpert.com, L’Oréal aims to help women like us find the right solution for our unique skin concerns. You can get your own customized skincare regimen by taking an easy & quick online skin consultation, along with easy-to-understand advice from L’Oréal’s team of skin care experts to help decode ingredients, and lifestyle tips for your skin.
My recommended skincare regimen included the L’Oreal Revitalift™Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Day Cream SPF 18, the L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Night Cream, and the L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Eye Cream. I have been using these three products for the past four weeks…let’s see how they fared!
L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Day Cream SPF 18 – This is a daily daytime moisturizer with broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 18 sunscreen protection, which is an everyday must for me. With Pro-Retinol A and Stimuplex, it is formulated to help increase cell turnover, reduce wrinkles, firm skin, while providing much needed hydration for smoother, firmer skin. The formula is creamy and a little thick but absorbs quickly, doesn’t feel heavy or greasy and works well under makuep. This will definitely be one of my go-to daytime SPF moisturizers in the colder months as it provides all day hydration my dry skin needs.
L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Night Cream – This night cream has become such an essential part of my night time skincare ritual. This one also boasts of a unique combination of Pro-Retinol A and Stimuplex for anti-wrinkle and firming action while you sleep. The creamy formula has a delightfully rich texture that soaks in quickly leaving my skin smooth, supple and hydrated, without any signs of greasiness. And this cream gets bonus points for its pleasant smell that’s light & soothing…just perfect for bedtime!
The most important thing for me though is that it doesn’t break me out despite its thick texture. As I have mentioned a few times before, my acne-prone skin (hormonal imbalance be damned!) can be really finicky at times but I’ve had no issues with breakouts with this night cream (or the day cream) so it’s a winner for me!
L’Oreal Revitalift™ Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Eye Cream – Specially formulated for delicate eye area, this eye cream also ontains Stimuplex™+ Pro-Retinol to help reduce wrinkles, firm skin and reduce the morning puffy look. I don’t have prominent wrinkles around my eyes yet but the fine lines are getting more noticeable. Just a few light dabs of this eye cream really help smooth out the skin, hydrate, and make applying concealer a breeze. It has a rich, silky texture that just glides on without leaving behind a residue and I have made it a part of my day as well as night-time skincare routine. Another plus is that the formula is fragrance-free and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eye area.
Having a skincare regimen that tackles my personal skin needs and concerns has become more of a priority than ever and the L’Oreal Revitalift™ line has been great at rejuvenating my skin and making a difference in the appearance of my problem areas. If you are also looking for an effective and dependable anti-aging skincare range, check out and try the L’Oreal Revitalift™ skincare products that are easily available at all major drugstores and mass retailers. Can’t beat the affordable pricing and accessibility!

I haven’t tried this line from L’Oreal, but my mom uses L’Oreal skincare pretty exclusively, and she has gorgeous skin.

I haven’t used L’oreal skincare in a long while. It’s nice to see they’re working their way towards real skincare customization for their consumers.

Phyrra Yes, I am not a big fan of jars either but I like that they have an additional ‘inside’ lid over the cream which def helps!

My skin story is similar – beautiful skin as a teen and then, adult acne from 21 🙁 Constant acne treatment has led to dry patches. Ugh!
Beauty_tidbits says
Renu1 I can feel your pain! Adult acne is so frustrating especially when nothing seems to help much.
