Sephora (coming soon!)
New for Spring 2016, Ciaté London Pretty Stix are lipstick-balm hybrids that promise a juicy high-shine finish with a powerful pigment payoff. Infused with an exclusive blend of exotic Brazilian murmuru butter and amino acids, these moisturizing lippies will be available in 10 shades atFirst off, how adorable is the packaging? The silver bullet designed with lip kisses (in the same color as the lipstick inside) all over is a cute idea! Ciate’s Pretty Stix not only look deliciously lovely but they have also have a fabulous formula that’s kind to naturally dry lips like mine!
These lipsticks have a lot going for them: buttery smooth application, great pigmentation, hydration and a glossy shine! I have really dry lips, so I tend to gravitate toward moisturizing lip formulas, preferably with some shine that helps make them look plush and fuller. And these Pretty Stix fit the bill perfectly! But the best part is they do not compromise on the color and longevity for moisture. Although they are not super long-lasting, I usually get a decent wear time (about 2-3 hours) with these, without too much eating and drinking.
I tried three of the ten shades of Ciaté London Pretty Stix and all of them have a pretty good color pay off that’s easy to build up for a perfectly opaque coverage. I think these three shades (Vintage Blush, Rom Com and Innocent) are universally flattering, fresh hues that would look great on almost all skin tones. I love to wear the shade Vintage Blush for my zumba class…it’s the perfect nude (as in my-lips-but-better) shade for me and also keeps my pout comfortably smooth n’ hydrated! Here are the swatches:
And here’s a pic showing all the 10 shades:
Ciaté London Pretty Stix offer all the benefits of a color-rich lipstick, the hydration of a lip balm and the fresh shiny finish of a gloss. Doesn’t that just seal the deal? They will be available soon at Sephora for $20 each.
