No matter what your everyday beauty look is, a fresh base is key to looking your best. Think about it — we all have a few “can’t leave home without it” personal care and beauty products we need everyday. Even though I am a beauty addict, I don’t have a very elaborate daily beauty routine but there are a few non-negotiable (more like desert island products!) that are right up there on my list of everyday must-haves.
No matter the season, my daily beauty essentials are a facial sunscreen, tinted moisturizer/BB cream, a moisturizing lip color or gloss and a trusty deodorant. These beauty basics are the ones that not only make me look put together and polished but also help me face the day more confidently. Of course, as seasons change I add more products as needed but these are the most important go-to items I start my day with.
There are few things more uncomfortable than being sweaty and smelly by mid-day with a deodorant that isn’t effective enough. With today’s hectic lifestyle and crazy busy schedules, body odor is the last thing any of us want to deal with! I have been a long-time fan of Dove and recently tried their new Dove Advanced Care Antiperspirant. Wow, talk about a product that does what it says!

A good deoderant is essential, Jaclyn Hill recently raved about the La Vanille deoderant which is over £10 and I just cannot justify spending that much on a deoderant. It’s an essential but no, not £10. This sounds like a good buy, at the moment I just buy whatever is on offer and I am always torn between trying out an aerosol. I prefer roll on as I think they have a less harsh scent, but I think sprays protect for longer. Do you have an opinion on this?

kirankaur634 I prefer not to use aerosols and sprays and try to go for something that has moisturizing ingredients in the formula because my skin is pretty sensitive after shaving! And that’s the reason I really liked this one from Dove as it keeps the odor away for a long time while being gentle on my skin.
