I have always been a fan of makeup infused with skincare benefits! Who doesn’t love a double-duty beauty buy? And the new IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation ticks all the right boxes for me, not only in the skincare department but also coverage-wise!
First off, this foundation has such a lightweight texture that I don’t even feel like I am wearing makeup at all. The formula blends easily whether I use a brush or fingertips to apply…my new favorite tool for blending though is the MakeupDrop+ (it’s a silicone makeup applicator with blending texture…so easy to use and wash!)
I have dry skin so I make sure to use a hydrating primer first and then apply the foundation. This foundation itself offers light hydration so those of you with combination to oily skin might not need to moisturize first (but don’t forget to use your favorite primer for a long wear time!)
My skin has been behaving rather well lately so the medium coverage this foundation offers works perfectly for me! It evens out and brightens my dull complexion perfectly while blurring the look of my (large) pores, acne scars, and dark spots…but feels like nothing on the skin! And the coverage is easily buildable so you can keep it sheer or add more layers.
And the best part is that the finish is very natural. It’s neither matte nor dewy but more of a satin finish and I love it! I can see myself using this foundation both in summer and winter months because of the lightweight, long-wearing formula and finish.
Here are the swatches for all the 7 shades – Fair, Light, Medium, Medium-Tan, Tan, Rich, and Deep. I found a nearly perfect match in Medium Tan.
